TETV Presents a special roundtable discussion for Mental Health Action Day. We continue working toward our goal for the month of May, to discuss the importance of mental health and create a supportive environment to facilitate these conversations. Often the first step is the hardest to take. May 20th, the inaugural Mental Health Action Day, is the perfect time to take in some stories from the themed entertainment industry, to make a plan, and to learn how to help those who may need your support. Microaggressions, pay gaps, double standards- these are everyday battles most women still face in our industry today. While we celebrate the achievements of women (past, present, and future) during the month of March, it is important to also recognize the work that still needs to be done.
